Kitchen Supplies Store Moving to Larger Space

Kitchen Stuff Plus is opening a new location in Etobicoke.

Situated on The Queensway right across the street from Sherway Gardens, the 14,957-square-foot store is in the same strip mall as the newly expanded HomeSense.

It will feature a new type of layout and overall look and feel compared to its other locations.

The Canadian retail chain is known for its cooking and home essentials, as well as home decor products.

Construction is currently underway albeit behind schedule. The upgraded retail space was slated to open in spring, but has been deferred to summer. An exact date has not yet been announced.

The new store replaces the one at Cloverdale Mall, which closed in early 2024, after 18 years.

The shopping centre is slated to be redeveloped in a joint venture partnership by QuadReal Property Group and Mattamy Homes. The first phase of the project will bring 33 and nine-storey towers to the site, for a total of 606 new condo units.

When fully built-out, the 32-acre master planned community will include 10 residential towers, 185,000 square feet of retail space, some 23,500 square feet of community amenities, including a daycare and community centre, and 3.8 acres of parkland.
