There’s a lot to know (and do) when selling a home, whether a house or condo, which is why it’s advisable to work with a Realtor. But what sets one apart from another? Here’s what I offer for a superior selling experience.

Top Priority

I provide one-on-one service and will be with you throughout your real estate journey from beginning to end (and afterwards as I strive to build strong relationships that last beyond the home sale). I am available as often as possible via phone, text, email and in-person to answer your questions and arm you with the right knowledge to ensure success in the home selling process. I also coordinate all needed resources to get your home ready to sell and am completely hands-on at all times, whether overseeing the home staging process (if needed) or physically helping you declutter and pack. Further, I will not dually represent you and the buyer in the same real estate transaction.

Industry Insight

I’m a journalist-turned-Realtor who has spent much of my 13-year career covering the real estate management industry. Knowledge gained from my experience gives me a unique perspective and yields you a competitive advantage. I have my finger on the pulse of the local and national real estate markets, and a knack for research that ensures your home is priced right to sell. My strong analysis skills also enable me to effectively comb through data, trends and properties to formulate a customized marketing strategy that’s right for you.

Integrity is the cornerstone of a journalist’s credibility and it is a core principle that guides my career as a Realtor. I won’t treat you like a transaction as I’m not in the real estate world to make a quick sale. Instead, I’m here to navigate you through what can be an exciting yet confusing and complicated process. You can trust I’ll always be forthright and that you will be armed with the right information obtained through due diligence and extensive groundwork so you can make decisions without fear or regret. If you ever feel I’m not the right person for the job and I can’t satisfactorily prove otherwise, I will release you from our contract.

Selling with Style

As a professional interior designer and decorator, too, with my own boutique firm, I will ensure your home looks its best when it hits the market, stands out from the competition and, more importantly, emotionally connects with buyers, bringing you that offer (or two or more) and the highest return on your real estate investment.

The first step in putting your property ahead of the rest is to conduct a complimentary in-home consultation. During this visit, I will take vital measurements, photographs and complete a room by room evaluation. This information will form the basis of a detailed, written Reveal Report on how to best showcase your property to its fullest potential. It will include tips and strategies to declutter and depersonalize, address any necessary minor fixes/repairs and cosmetic upgrades, and provide paint suggestions as well as recommendations for furniture arrangements and decorative accents. The Reveal Report can then be used to prepare your home for professional staging or styling, or as a guide to do-it-yourself.

Giving Back

It’s fairly common for real estate agents to give their clients a gift upon the completion of a sale, but I’d prefer to give back to the community and do so in your name. As an animal lover, I donate a portion of my commission from every sale to the Etobicoke Humane Society. The organization is 100% volunteer run and does not receive government funding — it relies solely on financial donations, every dollar of which goes directly into animal care and operations. Alternatively, I’m happy to contribute to a charity that’s dear to your heart. What’s most important is that together, we can make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.
