Furniture Brand Cozey Opens First Store in Toronto

Direct-to-consumer furniture specialist Cozey has opened its first brick-and-mortar store.

Located in the trendy Trinity-Bellwoods neighbourhood of Toronto, the 3,600-square-foot space marks a major milestone in the Canadian brand’s expansion from an online retailer to a physical presence in the furniture market.

The Queen Street West location is part of Cozey’s strategy to blend the ease of online shopping with the benefits of in-store experiences; an immersive environment that encourages exploration plus the ability to sit, for the first time, on the company’s expanding line of sofas and chairs, and experience living room tables and storage products, such as wall shelves and credenzas.

The space is touted as fully accessible and pet-friendly to reflect the company’s commitment to inclusivity and its core values of putting people first.

Cozey launched online in June 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic as a sofa-in-the-box brand. Today, the company sells much more, including sectionals, accent chairs and tables, outdoor furniture, storage, accessories and washable rugs.
