Where Homes are Selling Fastest, Slowest Right Now

The Greater Toronto Housing (GTA) market tightened in the spring as new listings fell and home sales picked up. However, the pace at which homes are selling has varied across the region, depending heavily on location and property type.

According to a new report released by digital real estate platform Wahi, which analyzed MLS data in July, Alderwood in Etobicoke is the GTA’s fastest-selling neighbourhood, with five or more transactions recorded during the month. On average, homes spent just 10 days on the market. At the other end of the spectrum, homes in Chaplin Estates, near Yonge Street and Eglinton Avenue in Toronto, took the longest to sell at 77 days.
